Botanically inspired sculptures are based on native species of Hawaii and re-imagining of the flora around me. Botanical abstractions often serve as metaphors for the strength and fragility of the human condition. This ongoing series is an expression of joy and whimsy celebrating the beauty of the flora of Hawaii and the windy island of Maui where hibiscus and other flowers appear to dance and bounce around in the wind.
